Friday 16th February 2018

This morning we continue our look back at our Week of Prayer.

In conclusion, God has very clearly shown us the need in Brentwood and the surrounding area. Our hearts are breaking for the things that break His.
in Joel 2 v 18 – 19 we read the following words:

Then the Lord was jealous for his land and took pity on his people. The Lord replied to them: “I am sending you grain, new wine and olive oil, enough to satisfy you fully; never again will I make you an object of scorn to the nations.

I believe that as a Church family we are that grain, new wine and olive oil.

In the 24/7 Prayer Movement, that we looked at to start this week of prayer, many initiatives that changed cities were birthed out of those prayer rooms. I believe new initiatives will be birthed out of this week of prayer.

The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. We need to Pray for the workers to be equipped and to go. We need to pray against any spirit of inadequacy and the mentality of “I cant”. We are called of God – I can because “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.

Have a great day!
