33 They got up and returned at once to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, assembled together 34 and saying, “It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon.” 35 Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was recognized by them when he broke the bread.
IT IS TRUE! Don’t doubt anymore, we’ve seen the risen Jesus!
The encounter at the rest stop becomes the motivation to return to Jerusalem at a late hour, to find the disciples and to declare that Jesus lives.
When we meet Jesus, when we spend time with Him, when our eyes are opened, our direction is changed. Transformation comes from encounter and it cause us to share the good news.
Our Emmaus travellers can’t wait to testify to God’s goodness, to his presence, to the FACT that HE IS ALIVE!
What is God doing in your life that you just need to share?
How can you share the awesome news that Jesus is alive?
How can you make space for encountering God in the belief that doing so will bring transformation and the motivation to tell others?
Have a blessed day and see you in church tomorrow!
