This is becoming a disciple of Jesus, which means following Him and learning from Him. He called His disciples to "make disciples of all nations ... teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you",and we continue to be obedient to His teaching. It involves a transformation of the mind and a softening of the heart as we are taught through the Scriptures to illuminate our thinking and, equipped by the Holy Spirit, to use our gifts to reach out to others. The aim is whole-life obedience to God in our thoughts, words and actions.
