About us / What we do

In being an active seven day a week Church, Sawyers has lots of people who serve in many appreciated ways as volunteers across the breadth and depth of our family life. We believe that every Christian is called and equipped to serve in ministry in and through the local church. In addition to this, three teams work together to achieve what we believe God has called us to be and do.  Elders, Deacons and Staff are committed to serving together with joy and so progress the honour of God in 'building a biblical community in a broken world'. In the light of this our mission statement, we are consistently striving towards a practical ministry expression of the church's vision through 'pursuing more' in the six-following ways:-
