Eric and his wife Jenny arrived in Brentwood in October 2007, Eric having previously pastored churches in Barnet and near Ipswich. He was brought up in North West London and has attended church from birth! He worked for a number of years in computing before sensing God's call to ministry and going to theological college, where he gained a BA in theology.
He delights in his two daughters and a growing number of grandchildren. For his sixtieth birthday his daughters gave him an ipod, which he is still coming to terms with (both the ipod and his sixtieth!). He enjoys solving Sudokus (well, someone has to!), does the odd spot of conjuring at family occasions and rides a bicycle when the Brentwood traffic permits. He enjoys working as part of the team at Sawyers and loves to see people growing in their Christian faith.
