Jeff was born in Stepney, East London in the 50's and has lived in Brentwood since 1979. He is employed as deputy manager for the Perfusion Department, at St.Thomas' Hospital, London, providing technical support for the Cardiac Surgery programme. He is married to Alison, with two daughters Vicky (1984) and Helen (1988). His sister lives locally whilst parents live in Frinton-on-Sea.

As a young family, they attended a local Anglican church for nine years before coming to Sawyers in 1996; it was only to have a look but they have been coming ever since! Jeff loves music, and is still learning to play the guitar! In another persona, he would have liked to become a DJ! He also loves to travel and has worked abroad in many countries.

Jeff's heart is to see the youth (the church's future) encouraged, and for Sawyers to become a major Christian focus in Brentwood through its many ministries. The ‘rebuild' programme, alongside the staff team and new leadership structure will, he believes, enable Sawyers Church to rise to the challenge of serving the community.
