Jon joined the Sawyers staff team in February 2007. He is a northern boy living most of his life in Yorkshire, but soon found an Essex girl and is to be married to Vicky in October. Jon loves sport, is a fan of Leeds Utd, and has a desire to see people appreciate cricket! He also enjoys playing the guitar and experimenting with different ideas in the kitchen. If not doing any of the above Jon will be found with his macbook!
As Youth Ministry Leader Jon is passionate about enabling young people to reach their God given potential and equipping them to witness to their friends. He loves to work with young people and aims to provide environments where they can just be teenagers whilst also having the opportunities to question and delve deeper into God!
Jon is responsible for the young people aged 11-18 as well as the team that help to plan and lead the youthwork.
