missionaries The Bible shows us that the local church is God's primary plan for transforming communities, nations and the world. We seek to be a group of people that are fully alive, that walk daily in hope, joy and peace, that experience real love and offer this to the world. We believe that knowing God is the best thing that's happened to us and we long to share this experience with others.

Sawyers Church is committed to supporting the work of God both near and far. To this end we partner with individuals and organisations through relationships which have been fostered over a number of years and are delighted to know their effectiveness in serving God locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Acts 1 v 8 is the basis for this emphasis...... Here are some of the missionaries that we presently support;-

William & Eunice Rea work in the Berea Bible College in Tanzania in East Africa, helping to equip men and women for God’s service.
Ruth and Maki Mico live and work in Albania serving as part of the Child Evangelism Fellowship.
Helen and Attila Kovacs, along with their three boys Daniel, Aron and Benji serve God in Hungary working for the Wycliffe Bible Translators.
Peggy Roberts, Radio Ministry, Kids Alive, BSCWT, Hope 08, Viz a Viz.
