Rachael was born and brought up in Brentwood. She worked as a primary teacher and Literacy Adviser in London before returning to Brentwood in 2002. She is married to Andrew and they have two children Paul and Claire. Rachael leads the Children's Ministry at Sawyers Church. Her vision is to involve children in the life of the Church, helping them to meet God and begin their personal journey of faith.
Like many working mums, her life is a bit of a juggling act! She combines her part-time work at Sawyers Church with work as a freelance writer and, of course, looking after the family. In her (brief) spare moments she loves reading, holidays in the Lake District and spending time with family and friends.
