Born in Lancing, Sussex but spent much of my childhood and youth in Perth, Scotland. I returned to the South to find employment and ended-up working for the Government! Married to Gill with daughters Sophie and Ruby, we have lived in Brentwood since 1996 and have always attended Sawyers Church. With a brother living in the USA and a twin sister in Canada, I can indulge in visits to, and travel around, North America, a part of the world that fascinates me so much. I also enjoy skiing that sometimes extends beyond the Brentwood dry ski slope!

I'm forever grateful for my Christian family upbringing. I came to personal faith in my teens and my relationship with Jesus Christ gives purpose, meaning and destiny in my life. It's great to be part of a church family that actively seeks to live out the Christian faith and share its experience in the local community in many ways; for me to help lead and shape all that we do to fulfil our church goal to ‘build a biblical community in a broken world' is both a privilege and joy. As an Elder I am particularly responsible for Safeguarding Children and Finance.
