Teaching matters at Sawyers for Gods Word is precious to us. We believe the Bible to be the benchmark for our living. We love God as revealed in His Word and so what everelse we do in our altogether gatherings, in our life groups and in our lives, we commit to be rooted in God’s Word. For when God’s Word is central and applied in spirit and truth we will be healthy and bear the kind of fruit that Jesus encourages.

We believe that all of God’s Word is inspired and for our example in life. We love to hear the public reading of Gods Word accompanied by strong life-application teaching that will increase our hunger for, and commitment to, Godly living.  You can expect to be challenged more than comforted by teaching and preaching at Sawyers! There are people and places for working out the application of God’s Word in our daily lives; whether it is those in pastoral ministry, the elders, staff team or in life groups … our desire is to see God’s Word transform us.
