Sawyers Church is vibrant church with a great message of hope and a passion to see people reach their full potential irrespective of their background.

Our aims as a local church in the Brentwood area are to:-

"Work Together", "Make a Difference" and "Build Community".

We seek to do this through Inspiration, Connection and Action.

We believe that God loves every person and has a plan for every individual. As we experience that love and discover His plan we also find hope, purpose and acceptance. Sawyers Church seeks to help people on their journey of faith as they are inspired by our teaching and worship, connected to our life groups and involved in our outreach. We want to see every person become a fully devoted follower of Christ.

The church is very active in the local community and the people that come along to our various activities are from a diversity of backgrounds and cultures. We would love you to come along to our activities, make friends and discover you're potential.

Sawyers Church is an independent evangelical church of more than 150 people. As a church we link with the following organisations:-

  • Evangelical Alliance - the nation's largest evangelical voice promoting unity and truth.
  • Willow Creek UK - a collaboration of interdenominational churches and groups committed to seeker-sensitive ministry moving people from unbelief to life-long following of Jesus.
  • Partnership - a fellowship of independent local churches which have an ethos of every-member ministry and collective leadership.
  • BADEF - a local Evangelical Alliance network of churches and agencies who meet monthly to share and work together in unity.
  • Frontline - a charity that enables and supports people with a learning disabilityto live full and productive lives through their active inclusion within the Brentwood community.
  • BSCWT - a local organisation that seeks to share the Christian message in local primary and secondary schools
